This year’s GLBT Lavender Youth Prom is an Asian style affair.
The prom will be held on Saturday Evening, September 27, 2008, from 7pm to 10pm at at the Living Room, 601 E. Belmont, Fresno, CA 93701
The cover charge is $5 per person. This year the coverage has been lowered to an very affordable rate. No one will be admitted without paying the full cover charge, there will be no exceptions. The dance, Food, drinks and Prom Pictures are all included in the cover charge.
Everyone will be given a set of posed prom pictures and a few candid shots. The back drop for the prom pictures will be a festive Asian inspired scene. There will be a nice spread of finger food and snacks and a variety of non-alcoholic beverages.
As is the tradition, a female couple and a male couple will be selected as the reigning prom Kings & Queens. To be nominated for the double prom King and Queen individuals must be dressed in either formal wear or in an Asian style.
